Trusting Hands Independent Living was founded by LaQuciea Jones, a caregiver with more than 20 years of experience serving seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and families in crisis across the Las Vegas community. Her background spans homecare agencies, group homes, and an all-women's shelter supporting survivors of domestic violence.
That experience became the foundation for an affordable senior living community in Las Vegas, Nevada, built around furnished shared and private rooms. Every resident joins a company registered and operating locally, with a founder who has spent her career earning the trust of the people she serves.
Affordable Housing Shouldn't Mean Fewer Choices
Our mission is simple: give Las Vegas seniors access to safe, affordable housing without sacrificing comfort or dignity. Many of our residents have reliable income but still can't keep up with rising housing costs, and our shared and private rooms are built to close that gap.
We measure success by the stability we help create. Whether someone needs temporary senior housing or a permanent home, our goal is the same, an environment where residents feel secure, respected, and never treated as an afterthought.

Founder Leadership
LaQuciea has spent more than 20 years caring for people in her community, across every background and walk of life. She started right out of high school as a caregiver with a homecare agency, then went on to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their own homes and in group home settings.
Along the way, she also worked at an all-women's homeless shelter, helping women and children — including survivors of domestic violence — find safety and stability. That path of service is what led her to found Trusting Hands Independent Living: a place where seniors can find the same safety, respect, and genuine care she has spent her career providing.
Today, LaQuciea brings that same experience to every resident who walks through the door, ensuring Trusting Hands remains a home built on trust.
